Groupon and Living Social Deals
Groupon and Living Social are great online resources for getting discounts at restaurants, hotels, clubs, spas, shows, and more in Las Vegas. Usually, the way that these deals work is that you purchase the Groupon for about half off the normal price. A few months before your trip, start checking Groupon and Living Social to see what kind of deals you can find. They even have coupon codes that are available for their sites so that the discounts can get even better! If you are opening an account for the first time (or using an email address for the first time), click the WELCOME button below and use the coupon code "WELCOME" at checkout. Otherwise use the button on the right and that coupon code ( OFF ) at checkout.

Restaurant.com Gift Cards
Restaurant.com also offers a great way to save money. Their deals work similar to Groupon or Living Social. We do not recommended paying in cash for the deals on the Restaurant.com website. Here is our suggestion, which will save you a ton! Purchase Restaurant.com gift cards on Ebay.com (This link takes you directly to the E-Gift Card Codes!). $100 in Restaurant.com Gift Cards usually goes for about $5 to $6 in auctions on Ebay.com everyday. Once you win the auction and pay, your gift codes will be emailed directly to you. The restaurants below are some of the best available options in Las Vegas for these deals. Please click on the name to go directly to the page for each restaurant. From there, simply redeem your gift code for these vouchers. Print the voucher for that restaurant before you go, order your meal as normal, and then when they bring the check, you present your credit card and your voucher. This will knock a huge chunk off the bill and save you money. Please just make sure to tip on the original amount!

Las Vegas Coupon Books
The two best Las Vegas Coupon Books that we have found are the American Casino Guide and the Las Vegas Advisor Member Rewards Book. If you use Las Vegas Advisor, make sure that you don't pull out the LVA coupons until you are in front of a casino representative and are ready to use them! Those are the rules with the LVA Rewards Book! These two books are two of the best ways to save money in Las Vegas, hands down. You can get discounts for food (almost every Buffet is 1/2 off!), drinks (free rounds and BOGO drinks), hotels (discounted stays), and entertainment (Free show or BOGO Tickets). We suggest that if you are traveling with someone, each of you get one of each of the aforementioned books so that you can both enjoy the perks! The American Casino Guide usually costs around $15 to $20 per book and the LVA membership is around $40/person. Keep in mind that the LVA membership comes with a 12 month subscription to their online newsletter that is chock full of helpful tips! Basically, for two people, you'll need to spend around $110 for 2 copies of each publishing. They are definitely worth it if you are planning to head down to Fremont Street (Old Vegas), especially when you consider that even partially used these publications still include a lot of valuable deals (We sold a few Las Vegas Souvenirs this month on Ebay for $70, when we threw in our used book as a free gift with the purchase of the various promotional casino items).
These two books have exceptional value especially when it comes to gambling. There are great ways to give yourself an edge against the casinos. This advantage comes in the form of the Match Play Coupons, Free Slot Play, and Slot Match Plays. Here are the basics on how a match play coupon works. You pick an even money game like Craps, Roulette, or Blackjack and place a bet in the amount listed on the coupon (i.e. $25 bet for a $25 Matchplay or a $10 bet for a $10 Matchplay), placing the coupon under the chips (you will need to have your id and player's card ready to show the dealer as well). If your bet wins, the dealer will pay you 2 to 1 for your bet ($10 bet + Coupon = Potential $20 Win). This swings the advantage to the player. The best game to use these coupons on is craps because the Pass Line (1.41% house edge) and the Don't Pass Line (1.36% house edge) have some of the lowest house edges available. There are blackjack games (off the strip) that have low house edge, but they aren't your best bet when using a coupon, because the casino will not give you out the 3 to 2 payout for hitting BlackJack on your coupon. Without the payout odds of 3 to 2 in Blackjack, the casino edge increases dramatically.
For the Free Slot Play and Slot Match Plays, simple go to the Player's Club and ask them to activate your promotion in their system. We recommend using the Free Slot Promotions on games like Video Poker, because the house edge can be extremely low, which means that you can usually cash in on the deals! You may even hit a big hand. We hit a straight flush on Deuces Wild Video Poker at the Downtown Grand in April on our freeplay which paid $50.
